Web proxies change IP addresses to make your presence on the internet anonymous. With your real IP address hidden, you can browse any website that you want, including those that are blocked. Your anonymity will mean safer and more secure surfing.

Using a web proxy (also called anonymous proxy) can change your IP address. There are free web proxies and professional web proxies. By the name itself, a free web proxy is one that does not require any fee for its usage. In the case of professional web proxies, you may be required to pay a one-time fee, an annual fee, or a monthly subscription to use the service.

In addition, an IP changer could allow you to bypass restrictions and browse blocked sites. There are many instances when you can be unfairly blocked from accessing some websites because of your IP address. One who is traveling abroad and wants to view US-based websites might get blocked. It could be due to government restrictions. By changing your IP address, you can get around and surf US-based websites without fear of being tracked.

More and more US Military Personnel based overseas have found anonymous surfing to be the solution for complete anonymity. However, there are dangers that anonymous surfers should realize and should be very careful with.

Many IP changers that are used for anonymous surfing do not encrypt data. This means that important information such as logins, passwords, and credit card numbers could be recorded and could be leaked by a proxy server.

This is where the concept of encryption becomes very important. By definition, “encryption refers to algorithmic schemes that encode plain text into non-readable or cyphertext, providing privacy.”

“Deep Packet Inspection”: a fancy euphemism used to decorate a truly insidious practice: intercepting your internet surfing and sifting through it to find usernames, passwords, and many other forms of security-compromising information. When one uses the Internet, all sorts of information regarding the content of the site visited, a password, or even the text of a personal e-mail are stored, but with many computer-generated, matrix-like obstructions and convolutions that render the information indecipherable.

Unfortunately, “Deep Packet Inspection” is a pedestrian tool that can compromise the sanctity of your anonymous browsing. Online hackers and the computer savvy can use these inspections to find out virtually anything about your use of the Internet. Basically, a criminal could access your E-Bay account just by reading the report from one of these packets. This practice is becoming such a menace to the general public that the government is reconsidering its legality.

Right now though, your ISP, your neighbors, and even your employer have the ability to invade your privacy. As harrowing as this may seem, you are not defenseless. You can utilize an anonymous proxy that acts as a secure tunnel for your internet surfing to pass through, seemingly invisible to a criminal’s peeping eye, and encrypted so well that it appears like hieroglyphics to the “Deep Packet Inspections”.

Anonymous surfing is just a click away.

It is a frustrating experience trying to access a website and finding out that you are blocked from it. This is especially true for travelers outside US who want to get connected to their loved ones at home. Just because the country they are in imposes some restrictions, their freedom has been limited.

Another dreadful experience would be finding out that because of your IP address your accounts were intruded. Your log-in data and passwords have been exposed. Your identity has been stolen.

Unscrupulous people thrive in the internet. They use different sorts of technology to track your surfing activities. Once they know much about you, you will be surprised at how they are able to do those things at your expense. Unless you change IP addresses, encrypt your Internet communications and become anonymous, you are a helpless prey to them.

Don’t you think it is time for an IP change? Websites automatically get your IP address every time you connect to the internet. Deliberately, or otherwise, they can get information from your IP address such as your geographical location.

It is your IP address that tells websites where you are. They can trace your electronic trail. Your IP address changes when you move from one country to another. An IP address provides information of all computers and users that connect to the internet.

Because of this, you cannot hide your identity from any website. Your surfing activities can be monitored and your access can be blocked. For any reason, a website can block you by “blacklisting” your IP address. This is the reason why many internet users have found that it is a good practice to change IP addresses.

Websites may unfairly block you. For example, some websites impose posting limits. Once you exceed their “allowable” number of posts, they use your IP address and maybe their cookie to block you.

One of our customers was having a problem posting ads. Of course the first question she asked was if the servers were changing her IP address. After verifying that our proxy servers were indeed up and running, we went through the process of figuring out why her ads were not being displayed. Even though she used our proxy, cleared her cookies and changed her ads, every post she did wound up ghosted.

We posted ads on the same site she did, ours were not ghosted. We tried every server we had, and none of the IP addresses were being flagged as a proxy. We even waited while our servers rotated through different IP addresses with the same result. So what was the problem?
