When you surf the internet, you leave a trail of information which can be accessed by anyone with the right tools. The change IP proxy is a computer that allows users to surf the internet incognito. The user requests a file from the change IP proxy, and the proxy retrieves it. Therefore, the user is anonymous and the website believes it is the change IP proxy requesting the information, not the user.

Using a proxy is simple: turn it on and connect to the server, then type the address you wish to visit, and you will be no longer “you” to the destination web site, but become the proxy server adopting their IP address.

If school or work blocks you from certain sites, an change IP proxy will not only change the IP address of the computer, but also allow you access to restricted sites.

It’s not all fun and games with a proxy however; a proxy can decrease your browsing speed depending on how many people are using it. Also, an unsecured proxy can be hacked and your information stolen if a hacker so chooses.  Always use a proxy with a clear statement about privacy and protection.
